At Family Community Church we believe:

• The Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God.  It is final authority in all Christian doctrinal truths.  It provides instruction for all who desire to live a life of faith in Jesus and service to others.
• We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was conceived by God the Father, through the Holy Spirit of God in the virgin Mary’s womb.
• Jesus was the only person ever to live a sinless life.  He chose to die on the cross for the sins of mankind and through his death atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood providing salvation for all mankind.
• Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, intercedes for those who trust in Him, and will return again in power and glory.
• We believe we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial and resurrection.  Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or efforts.
• The Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus to empower us for service and witness.  He cleanses us from the old nature, and conforms us to the image of Jesus Christ.
• The Holy Spirit is manifested through various spiritual gifts that are always in harmony with the Bible.  The Holy Spirit’s gifts were given to build and sanctify the church and confirm the power of the Gospel.  All believers are encouraged to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives.
• The Church is comprised of all those who believe in Jesus and is known as the Body of Christ.  Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of this body of believers and a part of His spiritual family.
